Miami sports reporter Jill Martin doesn’t let a little thing like being a woman stop her from getting the story.

Mention women in sports and the state of Florida, and names like Venus and Serena Williams or Jennifer Capriati immediately spring to mind. But you might want to jot down another name: Jill Martin. Since June, this vivacious Long Island, New York native has been making airwaves at WFOR CBS4 as the Sunshine State’s newest (and one of the fewest) female sports reporters in an otherwise testosterone fueled field. At her South Beach digs, we talked shop to see if this gal’s really got game.
